1Dream (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides LifeStory: Age Calculator (“LifeStory” or “the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App or contact us.
1. Information You Enter
LifeStory processes information you choose to provide, which may include:
- Your name, date of birth, and optional birth time.
- Names, birthdays, and relationship labels for people you add to your circle.
- Optional profile photos you select.
- App preferences and reminder settings.
This information is stored locally on your device and used to provide the App’s features. It is not uploaded to servers operated by 1Dream.
Please only enter information about other people when you have an appropriate basis to do so.
2. How Information Is Used
The App uses the information you enter to:
- Calculate ages and elapsed time.
- Display birthday countdowns and life milestones.
- Organize saved birthday profiles.
- Compare birth dates and ages.
- Personalize your experience.
- Provide local reminders when enabled.
- Create cards or images when you choose to export or share them.
LifeStory does not require an online account.
3. Permissions
Depending on the features you use, the App may request:
Notifications: To display birthday or milestone reminders you enable.
Selected photos: To use a profile image you choose through your device’s photo picker.
Saving or exporting images: Where required by your device, to save images you request.
You can manage permissions in your device settings. Declining an optional permission may prevent the related feature from working.
5. Advertising, Analytics, and Data Sales
LifeStory does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
We do not sell or rent the personal information you enter into the App.
6. Device Backups
Depending on your operating system and backup settings, locally stored app information may be included in device backups managed by your platform or backup provider.
1Dream does not operate these backup services. You can manage backups through your device or provider settings.
7. Support Communications
If you email [email protected], we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you send.
We use this information to respond to your request and resolve support issues. Your email provider and ours process these communications as part of delivering email.
We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request, maintain relevant support records, or meet applicable legal obligations. You may contact us to request deletion, subject to those obligations.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Information saved in LifeStory remains on your device until you delete it or remove the App’s local data.
You can remove local app data through your device’s app settings or by uninstalling the App, subject to your operating system’s behavior.
Backups, exported images, and content shared with other services may remain separately. Manage those copies through the relevant device, storage location, or service.
Because 1Dream does not receive your locally stored profiles, we cannot access, recover, or remotely delete them.
9. Security
LifeStory relies on application storage protections and the security features of your device to help protect locally stored information.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Protect your device with an appropriate screen lock and keep its software updated.
10. Children’s Privacy
LifeStory does not require children to submit personal information to 1Dream. A birthday profile concerning a child, when entered by a user, is processed locally in the same way as other profiles.
If you believe a child has sent personal information to us through support communications, contact [email protected] so we can review and address the request.
11. Your Choices
You can choose what information to enter, manage optional permissions, delete locally stored data, and decide whether to export or share content.

12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App or its information-handling practices change. The revised policy will show an updated effective date.
